| Background | GPR183 (EBI2 / G protein-coupled receptor 183) is a G-protein coupled receptor (GPCR) primarily expressed in B cells, T cells, and dendritic cells. It couples to Gi proteins, inhibiting adenylyl cyclase and modulating intracellular cAMP. GPR183 regulates immune cell migration, positioning within lymphoid tissues, and adaptive immune responses. Dysregulation is implicated in autoimmune diseases, lymphoid malignancies, and chronic inflammation, making GPR183 a potential therapeutic target in immunology and oncology. |
