The encoded protein couples with the Gs alpha subunit and stimulates adenylate cyclase to activate the cyclic AMP-dependent signaling pathway. This receptor is thought to regulate cholinergic neuronal transmission in the brain. Several antidepressants and antipsychotic drugs have a high affinity for this receptor. |

Figure 1. Elisa plates were pre-coated with C-Flag&Strep Tag 5HT6R-Strep-Nanodisc (0.2μg/per well). Serial diluted anti-Flag monoclonal antibody solutions were added, washed, and incubated with secondary antibody before Elisa reading. From above data, the EC50 for anti-Flag monoclonal antibody binding with 5HT6R-Strep-nanodisc is 2.122ng/ml.
