Protein Summary | Somatostatin acts at many sites to inhibit the release of many hormones and other secretory proteins. The biologic effects of somatostatin are probably mediated by a family of G protein-coupled receptors that are expressed in a tissue-specific manner. SSTR2 is a member of the superfamily of receptors having seven transmembrane segments and is expressed in highest levels in cerebrum and kidney. |

Figure 1. Elisa plates were added with His/Flag Tag SSTR2-Nanodisc (0.5μg/per well) on an anti-Flag monoclonal antibody pre-coated (0.5μg/per well) plate. Serial diluted anti-SSTR2 monoclonal antibody (BME100127) solutions were added, washed, and incubated with secondary antibody before Elisa reading. From above data, the EC50 for anti-SSTR2 monoclonal antibody binding with SSTR2-Nanodisc is 113.2ng/ml.
